Advancing Neurodiversity at Work: National Disability Inclusion Roundtable Columbus

On October 1st, I will have the privilege of co-facilitating The National Disability Inclusion Roundtable Columbus with Myles Wallace, Jim Lucier, Disability Inclusion Partner and Peak Performers. This event will bring together workforce leaders for an open conversation on Neurodiversity at Work.

The goal of this roundtable is simple but powerful: raise awareness, share lived experiences, and explore practical strategies to unlock the full potential of neurodivergent employees. These conversations matter because they shine a light on the challenges and strengths of those whose talents often go unnoticed in traditional workplace structures.

At Ryan Mayer Coaching, we have seen firsthand how addressing these challenges can transform both individuals and organizations. For example, in my blog ADHD Stress? Use These 5 Shifts to Conquer Your ADHD™ at Work, I shared actionable strategies that help professionals manage overwhelm and stay productive. These kinds of shifts not only benefit individuals with ADHD but can elevate entire teams by fostering clarity and reducing burnout.

In another post, How to Create an Environment of Support at Work for ADHD Adults, I explored the business advantages of embracing neurodiversity. Research continues to show that inclusive organizations experience higher retention, stronger innovation, and greater overall performance. These outcomes are exactly why events like the Roundtable are so critical because the ideas we exchange today can shape the workplaces of tomorrow.

I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of this dialogue and to continue advancing the mission of workplace inclusion. Neurodiversity at work is not just about accommodations. It is about creating cultures where people can contribute their best and thrive together.
