What are the Benefits of Engaging in Adult ADHD Group Coaching?

Many times people with ADHD can feel very lonely. It can be very alienating when it seems like you cannot do anything right. You know the worst part? That we are the hardest on ourselves. I know. My ADHD has led me down some very dark places. I’ve been there.

The world expects us to conform to their rules. However, our ADHD brains may do things differently. And that’s ok. We can work in our strengths, learn strategies, get accountability and find ways to work with our ADHD brains. Moreover, it is extremely validating to know that you are NOT ALONE in your ADHD struggle… Enter Adult ADHD Group Coaching!

So what is Adult ADHD Group Coaching anyway?

ADHD Group Coaching may be led by a Certified ADHD Coach. Clients typically have an ADHD diagnosis. We meet every other week for 60 minutes. Ryan Mayer Coaching ADHD groups typically max out at 10 clients. That is enough to get a strong support system going, however everyone is still able to share and participate. We share how we are feeling and discuss our wins for the week. It is important to focus on the positive and gain momentum throughout the call. There may be a theme we discuss. There may be one particular issue that everyone rallies around to lift that group member up. There is just something electric about bringing ADHDers together on a united front. ADHD group coaching is my favorite call to coach; I get a natural rush from just facilitating them!
