Why I Started Accountability Coaching

One of the most frustrating things about ADHD for me, my clients - and I’m guessing you too - is knowing exactly WHAT to do, WHY it is important to get done, and even HOW to do the task, but when it comes time to do it, we can’t get our brains to start!!

Do you ever wonder why that happens? It’s because of the Executive Functioning challenges that come along with ADHD. It’s like having an orchestra that is ready to play music, but the conductor is asleep!

How Accountability Coaching Works

You get a personalized text from me each morning. It’s set up this way because, let’s face it, ADHDers tend to be much better at being reactive than proactive, right?! Once I prompt you to get started, you will build a little momentum, and it will be substantially smoother sailing after that. I meet you where you are (your phone), and help you create the urgency that our brain requires in order to get into gear. It’s that simple. I text. You answer. I help you to get started, and you own the process from there.
